Strengthening & Supporting this Special Relationship

Paul and Janice Finn have gained many insights into what makes a marriage successful through their years of teaching on marriage and their own experience of having been married to each other for the past 37 years. They have four grown-up children and four grandchildren.  For the past 33 years they have been leaders of Southampton Christian Fellowship (AOG). They are both graduates of the Assemblies of God Bible College and Paul holds a MA degree from Southampton University.

Paul and Janice have over 20 years of marriage counselling experience and have spent a lot of their time counselling couples in crisis, helping them to restore and rebuild their marriages in order to enjoy the marriage relationship that God intended.

They run the Marriage Course in Southampton as part of Southampton Community Family Trust and are Marriage Course Advisors for Hampshire. They facilitate marriage enrichment weekends for churches and groups throughout the UK and more recently in Poland.

Marital breakdown is of great concern to Paul and Janice as they understand the personal heartache that many couples experience when a marriage breaks down, knowing that the wounds caused by separation and divorce can last a lifetime.

Paul and Janice have been teaching and supporting marriage locally and nationally over many years. Their insights and understanding on what makes for a healthy and lasting marriage come out of many years of experience in both counselling and pastoring married couples.
